The only reason they would need validating is that your copy of Windows isn't legal. You can't load either one if it isn't.

Nowhere. They don't exist.

Use something comparable and better instead

WMP11? Use MPC, VLC, or even BSPlayer and ZoomPlayer.

IE7? Use Firefox or Opera, even Mozilla and Seamonkey.
