Like all big Companies, ask your Boss .. if he doesn't know, ask the HR Dept.
NB> Other places it's anything from 13 weeks to 2 years
(I think I heard at Co-op it was 1 year, but as I say WHY NOT ASK THEM ?)

The question is " how long till I'm made redundant". Worked for the co-op for years (Left now though) and their tactics on employment leave a lot to be desired. Every year they get rid of staff to maximise their profits then a few weeks later have to advertise for staff. It's always last in first out. I'd keep looking for another job if I was you. If it's seasonal, you'll definitely be out after Christmas. Oh and keep a check on overtime, you may be the lucky one and actually get paid for it. Oh and don't make any arrangements for days off cos you'll be called in.

Speak to your team leader or line manager, or if you don't want to approach them, you should be able to speak to somebody in HR.
I would have thought that this is the sort of thing that should be covered in induction training or staff handbook.
