Being a Matt Kenseth fan...I don't really know how to answer that question. But things do sometimes happen and yes, it can be frustrating...that's where you start rooting for the team. If Matt's been knocked out of contention, I try to find the highest Roush driver in the running order and start pulling for him...even if it's David Ragan in, say, 20th and a lap down. But I have other drivers that I like...Dale Jr., Sadler, Labonte, Burton and Hamlin just to name a few.

Yeah, this Gordon fan gets plenty of grief fom everywhere when he doesn't run well. It's nice to have others to root for. Now ya'll know Smokie ain't my favorite, but heck, I was even rootin' for him at Chicago, knowing how he felt about winning close to home and all the trouble he had earlier this year.
If Gordon isn't running well, I still have Concrete Carl, Bobby L. (he needs to win again sometime soon), MM, Jr., and many others.
NASCAR drivers rock!!

My favorite driver is retired now, but it was definitely frustrating. I have several different drivers I like now, so that makes it a lot easier and more fun.

Hmmm....Ya if my favorite driver wrecks and his in 30th place and probably doesnt have a chance to win..I will just root for the person who deserves to win the race.. I dont like having second favorite drivers and all that..This is coming from a Smoke fan....Go Tony!

yes it is very frustrating, but what really makes me want to pull my hair out is when my driver is running good, I mean real good, and then blows a motor or hits the wall(it's real bad when he gets put into the wall by someone else)

It can be pretty darn frustrating at times....but its all good cuz you know how good your driver really is and that will never change.. misfortune on the track or car troubles it happens... you just stick with it and know that a win is right around the corner...especially when you have a good consistent determined driver to root for!!!
GO HARVICK & RCR!!!

A good reason to have more than 1 driver to root for.

I just say, it's okay, I'll pick another driver until my driver drives faster and makes it in the 43 car race.

I follow many drivers, so like today when Kurt had problems, I listen to his radio, while watch Kyle on Pit Command.
