First, FreeCreditReport.com isn't the place to get your free credit reports. You may get a combination copy of your report but you have to sign up for their monitoring service which is difficult to cancel.

Secondly, AnnualCreditReport.com is the place to get your free report from each of the credit bureaus online. It is NOT a combination report. You go thru this site to each of the three credit bureaus.

You're actually allowed three credit reports per year-- one from each main credit beureau. However, if you want one composite credit report, then you can get it from http://www.annualcreditreport.com.

It's best to get separate credit reports than one composite because discrepancies may exist between the three that you may need to resolve. Plus, each of those reports updates your score at different times. If I were you, I'd get a credit report from one of the three main beureaus every four months. For example, I'd get a credit report from Experian at the end of April, one from TransUnion at the end of August, and one from Equifax around the end of December. They all offer a free report for you.
