Do you want a good ar15, or one under 900 bucks, because you simply cannot have both.
You MIGHT be able to get a dpms for around 900, but it won't be under
Olympic would be the next cheapest but it's still not going to be under 900.

If you bought an upper receiver and a lower receiver separately, you could probably get a good one for under $900. I'm looking in my Bushmaster Firearms catalog right now and I see a carbine style complete lower for $339 and an A2 style complete lower for $295. I also see several uppers for around $500. It is really easy to put these together, simply snap the upper onto the lower and push in the two pins on each side.

Just buy some parts and build one it is not hard at all.I was at a gunshow not to long ago and I was looking at AR-15 I was thinking how people waist so much money on buying them already together.Plus when you build one you can make it just how you want it.
