I want them to ----I don't know...I don't want to simply exchange it and forgive and forget...even if it's just candy. I mean if it was like a week expired...it was ok. But TWO years?! What should I do?

I asked this here because
1. I like you people....some of you at least.
2. Chewing gum is spiritually fulfilling.

NA: I would except that'd be more work for the janitors.

I got two year old M&M's out of a vending machine once. They tasted a little off, and when I pointed out the expiration date to the guy sitting next to me at the symposium, he took them from me and finished the bag. I would tell everyone his name and expose him for the nasty dog that he is, but it really probably wouldn't put a dent in his reputation.

If I were you, I would bring this to the store where you purchased the gum's attention. Maybe ask for a refund or another, less expired pack. Good luck!

Explain the spiritually fulfilling part.

Learn to live with reality. Complain to the management and let it go. Don't let something like this get the better of you. It IS only gum. You can also stop shopping there.

Sorry Sam, but you will die for that mistake. Everybody knows you can't chew outdated chewing gum. I suggest you call a poison control center at once. Don't worry, help is on the way.

There's really not a lot you can do since expired gum isn't exactly hazardous to your health. Get a new pack.

You should burn down the store that sold it to you down. It would serve them right, what with their neglecting to take expired gum off the shelf (candy expires?)

If you have a receipt, just take it back and get a refund. If you don't have a receipt ask to see the manager and then raise hell about it until he gives you a refund.

If the above fails, arson is always an option.

Go back to the store and throw a hissy fit. We rarely get to see a good hissy fit anymore.

Bring it back to the store. They're not supposed to be selling things past their expiration dates.

Dude, it's just chewing gum. It cost what, like 50 cents? Just throw it away and forget it.
