I must seriously laugh at all of you not in Chicago or New York, these are the best places to get pizza. The fact that Chicago and New York have the best water in the country is the foremost reason for this. For places in Chicago, it depends on the style you want. For deep dish I recommend Due, or Lou Malinotti's. For thin pizza I recommend Bricks Pizza. In the suburbs find an Aurelio's, they are everywhere.

For pan pizza, Lou Malnati's is my favorite (& the original restaurant is 5 minutes from me!), Gino's East and Uno are also excellent choices. For thin crust, I like Maries Pizza on Lawrence and Martino's on Peterson.

well if you're in Chicago you gotta get a deep dish...but some of the best places are (in no particular order):

Lou Malnati's
Giordano's (great stuffed pizza)
Gino's East
Pizzeria Uno
