Yes you should delete it. 10 is waay too young for a myspace. There are too many sexual predators on myspace. Even, though no one is targeting them. Bebo is better for 10 year olds or tagged. I think deleting it would be the best decision.

A ten year old should DEFINITELY not have a myspace account.Even myspace requires that a person be at least 14 to have an account - of course, it's easy to just lie about age.
If you just delete it, he will just set up another one, so that won't accomplish anything. You could report him to myspace as underage, http://www.myspace.com/Modules/Help/Pages/HelpCenter.aspx?Category=3&Question=29 but again, he could just come in under a different name.
Lots of kids use myspace properly, but unfortunately it's become a dangerous place for kids to be. Their use needs to be monitored by a responsible parent or guardian. Since you know the password, maybe you could monitor it and see what he's doing. Other than that, if his parent or guardian won't take care of it, there isn't much you can really do.
Good luck.

Ten years old is too young based on MYSPACE standards. They had to lie about his age in order to set up the account to begin with. Myspace set that age requirement for a reason, and your cousin obviously doesn't understand this. As for deleting his account, what good would it do? He'll just create a new one, and you'll have NOT done any good. The problem lies with poor parenting, NOT with Myspace.

Considering the age limit for MySpace is 14 years old, NO! There was a story not too long ago that came out where pedophiles are on MySpace with pictures of children. If you have pictures on your MySpace of anyone underage MAKE IT PRIVATE! There isn't anything you can do if someone copies your pics from your page. Be careful. I would delete his MySpace.

It is certiantly NOT a good idea to let ANYONE under that age of 12 to have a myspace. You shouldn't delete it though, he can easily make a new one. You could talk to your cousin and his parents about editing his myspace every day.

He is breaking the terms of service, this is not a good example to allow him to continue. Rules don't only apply if you happen to like them.

Talk to his parents about it and tell them your concerns and what your cousin is letting her brother do.
Find other alternatives.
Examples could be PBSkids, noggin, or if he's more mature yahooligans, and some educational and Christian websites designed for children.
My daughter is almost 10. And I think that for her is way too young. I let her play discs or games I downloaded for her that I screened and selected with her, and she still needs my help on the pc.
I don't even have a myspace account. What a 10 year old need or what one for anyway?
Do his parents think he is mature enough for myspace? Do they even know what myspace is about and what other kinds of people can go on it?
His parents and sister or you can download games for free, including educational games. If he sees something more interesting and appealing to attract his attention, he will be drawn to that instead of myspace. Then his parents can make a compromise of his continued playing games for his surrender of the account to them until he is mature enough to handle it and the people who could be on there.

I believe My space has an age limit...you would need to check. But 10 is really too young, they could be getting inappropriate images. If he is a "young" 10, he could see some things that he really is not ready for. That's why I won't allow my 12 year old to have a page, or even go on it at her friends house. Tell him to get off the computer and go outside and play!
