Thanks to secular media and governmental insitutions, not many people are aware of the final (and possibly the greatest) contribution to the world by the man who appeared to have a special connection to divine wisdom and revelation. Interestingly, Albert Einstein remarked that "God does not play dice" (probably a cryptic 20th century reminder of Newton's prophecy).
I believe the word "end" in Newton's prophecy doesn't mean a literal end of the world, but rather the end of the world as we know it. The end of any illusions we may have about the world, who we are, why we are here and who brought us here. Don't you find it remarkable that this fits in with the current intuition of our times (that we are in the last days)?
Some people may object by saying that the Bible said "no man knows the day or hour". But the Bible also says that man can tell the season. Apparently, Newton has told the world. But, for some reason, the world is either ignorant or not listening.

The true believers will know when the end time is coming.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ecclesiastes 8:5 Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.
Newton didn't understand all of the Bible and he only looked at the book of Daniel. This is a problem since God commands us to compare the spiritual things with spiritual and Daniel is not the only book of the Bible, which is a spiritual book.
1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Also, God commanded that the truths in Daniel and many truths throughout the Bible be sealed up until the end times. Newton obviously didn't live in those times.
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Are you ready to meet God?
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

It would help if he mentioned why he thought so.
The end of the world as we know it happens in about 20 years. That's how long scientists predict it will take to stop the aging process. At that point, anybody who is alive will live to see ourselves become as gods because we will all live to see technology achieve total control of whatever it is that everything is. Unless of course we kill each other off lol.
There I gave you my prediction and I told you why. Now it's up to you to decide if I'm right.

Because Newton, while he did some great work for science, was also completely insane. Mark Steel's lecture on Newton can be got here - http://download.yousendit.com/985826276A96EFB3
I fully recommend you listen to it, it's both informative and hilarious.
Nasty piece of work, that Newton. Not a nice man at all. The fact that he was a brilliant man who did some great work for science does not change the fact that he was also completely nuts.

No reason to listen to prophecies, or to apply them to the politics of today, and the world Newton lived in ended three centuries ago.
