I mean if you watched the series, both god and 'Jeebus' are mocked and ridiculed amazingly. Even in the movie, Homer says as he reads a bible, 'This book has no answers'

I have seen Christians watch the Simpsons and laugh. I think they feel content enough in their own beliefs that people mocking them do not bother them and some can even find humor in their own religion.
I don't think any Christian ever called for Matt Groening to be beheaded because of what he might have said about Jesus etc. They seem more secure in their religion that Muslims seem in theirs.

Both the Simpsons & South Park have mocked every religion. It's curious that with South Park, there wasn't a problem until they attacked Scientology. To answer your other question, the fundamentalist Christians go berserk over everything.

I think as a general rule Christians of all types have a much more highly developed sense of humor than Muslims.
I am not exactly sure why but it could be the actual teachings of Jesus.
Jesus laughs at the Simpsons all the time (Yes they have TV)
In fact, it is impossible to catch Jesus being angry or petty or vain.
The Sufis say that Jesus had a very highly developed sense of humor and was seen laughing a lot.

The Simpson's have been on American T.V. for over 15 years.Out of those 15 years how many times have you seen or heard of Christians or Americans going berserk over the Simpson's? Not one time

Thats because fundamentalist Christians aren't as fanatical as some Muslims. Hopefully Fundamentalist will settle down and realize that violence makes the whole religion look bad and instead do some good old protesting and complaining about freedom of Religion like our Christian friends.

well i know people make jokes about atheist's and i don't mind if its in fun and i think its the same with the groening jokes in the simpsons how ever the muslims seem not to have a sense of humor

The Simpsons does make fun of Christians a lot. They've also stood up for them. I remember one episode where Marge said she wouldn't choose her husband over god. (I think it was the one where Homer was awarded the church in a lawsuit)

I am Christian and I love the simpsons. It is just funny, I don't take it seriously and I don't think I am going to go to hell because of it.
