I believe that once the tv was on and it got wet, i left it to dry for a couple days and it worked but then it got wet again but i think that the tv was off.

it just depends on a few things....was it plugged in when it got wet and was it turned on? if it was turned off then most likely it didnt fry any of the boards in it.....so i would suggest to keep it unplugged for several days until you are 100% sure it is dry then plug it up and see if it works...these days if a tv goes bad its usually cheaper to buy a new one then to get the old one fixed!

DO NOT Turn it on until it has had several days and/or weeks to dry.

It may still work, it just depends on how much water and what parts got wet, and whether or not it was plugged in/turned on when it got wet.

Cost to repair would depend on what parts malfunctioned.
