he is almost 14 and capable of watching a SLEEPING child. if she ever wakes up when he is here (which never happened yet) he will bring her next door to my moms....

Give him like 2/3 dollars an hour. He's not really doing anything but it does give you time for yourself, so he is still doing you a favor.

How old is your daughter? I don't think a 13 yr. old should be left with a small child. I think they don't understand a crying baby, or a cranky child. I think your not thinking. Its easy for a kid to become overwhelmed when a baby won't stop crying or a toddler acts out screeming. Enlist proper help, check out high school or young mothers in your area. Stop Mothers and ask them for a couple good babysitter numbers---PS pay in cash, 6$/ hr.immediately upon arrival.

Depending on where you live and the going rate for sitters, $3.00 to $4.00 an hour is a good rate.

I would give him $10 each time. If she is sleeping there really isn't much for him to do.

around $2.50/hr... if under 3hours $3.00/hr and if its just for 20 minutes to go to the store or something give him like him $5-$10 for it, or buy him something he really wants at the store that mom wont buy

do you like him? you could pay him by not kicking his ***! lol but if your looking for a monitary value, find out what the going rate is and ask him if you qualify for the family discount!

Ten dollars a time seems like more than enough.

I would say $10.00 each time is enough. Maybe you can get him about $100.00 for his birthday and Christmas too.
