Anyone who has half a brain knows that Catholics are Christians. If their church is teaching them that Catholics are not Christians, I would question why the church is lying to its followers.

Some Christians do not recollect Roman Catholics to be truly Christians, and those are often protestants. But almost, Roman Catholics are Christian however no longer all Christians are Catholic. Roman Catholics are lead by means of the Pope in Rome. Protestants do not appreciate the Pope's authority and are prepared into enormous quantities of distinctive denominations. The Eastern Orthodox(Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox) additionally don't appreciate the Pope, even though their teachings and ceremonies are similar to the Roman Catholics. The Eucharist is meant to be Jesus's Body and Blood, this can be a Holy Sacrament, an excessively essential facet of Catholic church rite. I do not feel in it. I can form of comprehend the notion however I am no longer Catholic or Christian. Never be fearful of asking questions of your priest or fellow parishioners.

Pastor Billy says: the only people who say such things are other so-called Christians meaning the Protestants.

There will always be Protestants (incl Baptists, Non-denoms, Evangelicals etc) who will explain that Catholics are not Christians because without doing so they cease to exist as a separate Christian entity/community/authority. In their eyes Catholicism receives too much attention as the voice of Christianity worldwide. They desire this attention be given their particular community instead and use any propaganda available to mislead others into believing Catholicism isn't Christian.

Catholicism does not have to prove Protestantism is false to be true whereas the reverse is not true for Protestantism.

To paraphrase the great writer G.K. Chesterton:

"Protestantism would be empty if not for all the isms of the world, (materialism, separatism, indifferentism, revisionism etc)... except of course Catholicism" basically he was stating a fact of Protestantism not standing the test of time and it has spun off other evils in it's disobedience to the One Christian Church and faith which has existed from the time of Christ til now.

Depends on your definition of Christian. Most non-Catholic Christian denominations accept Catholics as Christians. A very few do not.

A dictionary would say that a Christian is someone professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.

Catholics would fit this definition.

In the Nicene creed, from 325 C.E., Catholics profess:

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father.

Through Him all things were made.

For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried.

On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are baptized as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19, "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

We truly are spiritually "born again," we just don't usually use those words.

For a complete description of what Catholics believe, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/index.htm

With love in Christ.

Depends on which group you talk to.

many do not believe in the Pope for one.

Pray to God only, not Mary and other saints.

Baptism in the bible was not done to children who had not sinned yet.

No engraven images like Jesus on the cross.

Basically do what ever you want as long as you confess to a human priest. No real repentence

I was Catholic for 20 years My family is still Catholic and my sister teaches at a Catholic school. I do believe individual Catholics can be Christian's but if they put their faith in a man made church lead by just a man instead of Jesus there is a problem. Many Catholics do not put their faith in the Pope. I believe the bible says that we should not have denominations. It says do not say I am of Apollos or that I am of Paul. The true church is not a building it is the body of believers that believe in Jesus Christ.

We fellowship in our houses and we share the duties there is no leader where I fellowship. This is how it was done before the Catholic Church was ever invented.

Catholics were the FIRST Christians. Jesus established a church(not a religion) in 33AD and gave it to Peter to lead, that Church is the Holy Roman Catholic Church and it is still going strong and preaching the complete fullness of Christ as it has done for over 2,000 years

Catholic is another segregation of the Christian belief...

(by the way its all BULL so dont listen to their zombie preaching BS)

anyways, catholics are a lot more strict and you have to confess and their are a lot more rituals involved, Christian (like modern christians) believe as long as you accept jesus into your heart its "all good". Catholics have to be cleansed and sin free when they die or they too will go to "hell"
(hell doesn't exist btw)

What makes you a Christian is making Jesus Lord and Saviour of your life by giving him your life. If he leads you to the Catholic church after that so be it. The Lord is your Shepherd not a man.

To be Catholic is to be Christian. The idea that Catholics are not Christians is the latest in anti-Catholic propaganda.

I thought I was a Christian! Christian means that you believe in Christ. Catholics certainly do!
