If you've gotten one of those requests through an e-mail from some foreign country... NO!!!! don't even open it! Delete it right away! It's Spam! It's a scam to get not only your money, but all your personal information as well!
Be sure to report it as spam to your service provider as well. Once you've gotten one of these, you will most likely get more of them if you do not report it.
The reason you should not even open it is because the very act of opening this message will send out a web beacon, telling the scammers that this is indeed a valid, active e-mail account. If you should open it, do not click on any links within the e-mail. You may end up unleashing a worm, virus, etc.

This is a scam that is rampant over the internet. They tell you that they need you to present yourself as a beneficiary and request all of your banking information so they can "send" you lots of money only to help themselves to the contents of your bank account. You need to run as fast and as far away from solicitations like this as you can or your identity and financial stability, savings, credit rating and record will be completely destroyed!!!!!

Hi!
This usually means you've been approached by a total stranger appealing to your "good nature" and greed suggesting they can make you rich.
Don't be misled.
Good wishes.
