I love my children unconditionally…I don’t require them to worship me or make animal sacrifices.
If one of my children ate an apple after I told them not to…I would not punish my grandchildren and every generation thereafter
If I someone was harming my children (Satan), and I had the power to stop him, I would stop him.
I would forgive all of my children for any deed. They would not even need to ask.
And "no", I would not sacrifice my only son (have him tortured on a cross) in order to change rules I had written in a book

daljack,
I can't believe the Bible's instructions to stone your friend and neighbors to death for working on the sabbath or wearing clothing made ot two kinds of materials were ever "necessary"

When you say God, you need to specify which version of God;what you are talking about is the christian version of God, and yes, it is a pretty sick one.
I believe, if there is a God, Christianity is an insult to it.
They perceive a God as a HE, a man up in the sky, that set up an endless torture chamber for those that did not believe in him.
Quite a sick, twisted idea of God, yes ,you are more loving that that, any SANE person IS more loving than that.

"How did I become more loving then God?" You didn't. And you obviously don't know or understand God either.
"I love my children unconditionally" So does God.
"I don’t require them to worship me or make animal sacrifices." God doesn't either. We worship Him because we love Him and we CHOOSE to worship Him.
"If one of my children ate an apple after I told them not to…I would not punish my grandchildren and every generation thereafter" God doesn't either. I guess you haven't read the New Testament, which says we are not punished, but forgiven for our sins.
"If I someone was harming my children (Satan), and I had the power to stop him, I would stop him." Well, you should! That's why God gave us all FREE WILL. So that we are not robots, but we have the will and ability to stop someone who may be harming our children.
"I would forgive all of my children for any deed. They would not even need to ask." God does forgive us for any deed. What do you have against asking for forgiveness. If your child disrespected you by hitting you, would you want him to ask for your forgiveness, or would you just automatically forgive him and drop the whole issue? (How would you ever teach your children respect otherwise?) If your best friend forgets he/she has plans with you and stands you up, should they apologize and ask for forgiveness, or just blow it off and not worry about it? There's a reason we ask for forgiveness. It's about acknowledging our sins against God. God always forgives when we ask.
"And 'no', I would not sacrifice my only son (have him tortured on a cross) in order to change rules I had written in a book." That's because you can't. You obviously are not the One who created everyone, so it's not within your power, control, or authority to do so. Only God could. And that's how much He loves us...unconditionally; even you, who denies Him.

You may be more loving than some people's understanding of what god is. The love you are experiencing for and with your children is god within you.

No mainstream religion practices sacrafice. It's great you love your Children unconditionally so does the lord. He loves us and forgives us. The only unforgivable sin is to walk and talk with God in person and then reject it completly.

Thank God Jesus died for ALL humanity. Therefore you're exercising the FREE WILL that God Himself Imparted To you. If you told your children not to play In a busy 8 lane highway and they did It anyway and got hurt. Would you punish them If you saw them going back to the highway ? We ALL have rules. If you drive a car too fast you're going to get a speeding ticket. Adam & Eve could eat from Many trees In the garden. They were forbidden not to eat or even touch ONE TREE. Because of ONE person we ALL fell Into sin. It took Jesus a SINLESS man to redeem us from death.hell & the grave. The Power Of One Is Great !

Your misunderstandings are deep and your arrogance is great and I don't have the mental energy to untangle them all and comment on them.
So: if you think so, fine.
