I would think what she did, in all likelihood. I would think somebody stole His body.

Then if I saw him in the resurrected flesh, I hope I would have her clarity of faith to recognize Him and believe.

I don't want to be redundant with another answer saying somebody stole the body blah blah blah ect ect. What I want to point out is the following. You see this question is based on testing faith. However, people expect a certain answer because the person we talk about is Jesus and not somebody else. I think a lot of time is best to ask questions about other worldly mysteries leaving certain information out because certain hints and names in a question will bias the answer. this is true for all topics.

The question you asked is based on the belief that Jesus did infact resurected. So, you will get answers from both sides of the belief system (or various side is not all black and white). So, lets refrase the question. What if you knew this lady who's husband was killed. She then goes to his grave to pay her respect but upon arriving she found that the body was not there?

You see, because we did not mention any biblical characters or any names whatsoever we do not feel the need to justify the answer by giving it special threatment or considerations. Upon reading the refrased question people would think that somebody stole the body, or simply the body was not burried there. Even that maybe the body had not arrived at that particualr grave yet. Maybe the body was cremated. All of the answers above are logical and acceptable. However, name Jesus and some people feel compelled to give special treatment to the question. Only important people get special treatment to the question. Other examples are JFK, Marylin Monroe etc etc. I mean I'm not putting Marylin in the likes of Jesus but her death was sure suspicious. Now, if it was Joe Schmoe from the around the corner then we would had not given it much tought.

To solve many of the world mysteries it is often best to #1 refrase the question so as to not influence the answer and #2 the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. For example there are people who say they have seen UFOs. So you ask yourself, what is more likely. That Alien beings have traveled billion of light years to give anal probe to some backward hill billies or that we simply don't understand what we are seeing which probably means is some natural occuring phenomena, military testing or a simple hoax. To me the later answers are simpler and more believable and to this day they have held true.

Someone took the body in order to claim that jesus has risen from the dead. I would look for evidence that the tomb and body has been tampered with.

I would think the guards fell asleep or were bribed and the body taken, which is what I actually do think happened. No offense meant to anyone who thinks anything differently.

pay her some cash and then do her because she was a whore.

then i would laugh because i knew it would be empty because you cant put a person that doesnt exist in a tomb that does exist. it doesnt make any sense. its just like why chewbacca lives on endor. it doesnt make sense why would a huge wookie live on endor witha bunch of little ewoks. it doesnt make any sense.

I would think:

1) Someone took the body away; or
2) He really wasn't dead, and escaped

Like her, I would probably assume that someone had stolen the body.
