No it isn't alright. The smaller the child the faster their heart beats. Caffeine gives you a rush and this can be very harmful to small children. Please do not give them coffee, you wouldn't want to hurt them.

You could give a 2 year old coffe but it's not really good for them. I personally wouldn't but 1 sip of coffee with a LOT of milk should be OK. When I say a lot of milk, I mean 10 times more milk than coffee.

NO it's not all right to give a 2 year old coffee! First of all, it has caffeine in it so it's not any different than a soda and that's not appropriate for a toddler either. 2 year olds should drink water, 2% milk and no more than 4oz juice each day, that's it. Also, if you add sugar to your kids drinks/food you are asking for trouble, from cavities to diabetes. YUCK.

a drink of decaffinated coffee isn't going to hurt a 2 year old. I use to steal drinks of my grandmas coffee when i was really young, first time was at a year old and it was fine. If you give him to much or if it is caffinated or a lot of sugar it will probably make him bounce off the walls or jittery but he won't die or it or anything. My grandma said I use to love coffee flavored anything lol.

Not a good idea to give a 2 year old coffee. There's caffeine in coffee and your child will be quite hyper! Besides, coffee is not good for children anyway.

I think it is okay as long it is a very small amount to a large cup of milk. One of my son's favorite things to do at 2 and 3 is sit on the porch with his grand pa and a cup of coffee. Although his is mostly milk

It's not recommende. Caffeine isn't good for anyone. However, a little bit will not hurt a two year old. Just be warned, 2 year olds and coffee...you're not going to get a moment's peace =)

Ew!

No.

Choice of combinations aside, your child does not need caffeine at that age, or anything else that has stimulants in it.

Two year olds should be on cow's milk or goat's milk or whatever by that age, as well, for the fatty nutrition it provides. If he's still using breast milk it probably doesn't taste that good to him, either...

No, a child needs food and drink that full of nutrients. If you give them things that aren't then they will be full and won't want other things. Also coffee has ingredients that are harmful to growing children.

Obviously a sip now and then won't hurt but as a rule, no - it is not good for them and it shouldn't be a part of their usual routine.

coffee is a strong drink with toxins that might not be easily digested by a 2 year old. or, he may develop an addiction (caffeine is a drug remember). ask your doctor.

also ive heard that it stints a childs growth but that may be a rumor so again ask your doctor about that too.
