i am not bashing anyone or such, i truly do not understand as a Wiccan why people are dying and killing each other over the Temple Mount? All three of the Major Religions consider it Holy so why do they all kill over it? It seems if I were Christian a sacreligeous thing to do kill over the Temple mount, is not killing a Sin?

See i am not trying to bash, i am only trying to understand. So please no nasty words or preaching from the bible, I want serious answers only please as to why you think the fighting exists when all agree it is Holy of the three Religions fighting over it?

Do you not all believe in the same God? Just have differences in views and prophets and such? Is that not really the only differences between the three or is their a lot more? I am not trying to be ignorant, I know what popular answers are but they make no sense to me not being of any of those faiths. so an honest answer would be greatly appreciated.

Neither can I Feona it makes no sense to me and it is senseless waste of human life. We have agreed on most everything in these forums so far I have noticed.

Now I THOUGH that the Muslims Allah was the same god as the Christians, they have the same Prophets as Christians and Judaism only that they have Mohammed as well correct? Again I am not an expert nor a Muslim so I am asking to learn, not to bash or say who is right or wrong. I am only trying to understand the needless death over land and Religion.

I think the native Americans had it right when they believed you could not OWN land. (bet you cannot tell I am part Native American too)

I have never heard of Wiccan's killing over the Temple mount? Or any other religious reason? If they have please name one or more to me please? This is not a challenge but an honest question.

1. No, the 3 major religions do not believe in the same God.(Christianity and Judaism do, but not Islam).
2. The temple mount is being profaned as long as there is a Muslim place of worship on it.
3. You are right when you say that Christians should not be killing over the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Christians should be praying that the lies and deceit of Islam will be exposed and that it will come under God's judgement. They should be praying that those who've been deceived by Islam are set free by God and come to the truth.
4. So long as the Jews believe that the Temple Mount belongs to them and the Muslims believe the same, wars and battles over this place will continue.
5. Israel is God's land which He promised to the descendants of Israel, not to the Arabs or to anyone else. The Arabs don't believe this and they hate the Jews because they are God's chosen people and the apple of His eye. Also, they know that Israel does indeed belong to the Jews, as promised by God, but their jealousy has controlled their actions since Isaac and Ishmael

Religion = man made rules, rituals and regulations on how to worship God. Man is flawed. Religion is flawed. Religion isn't always loving and tolerant as you mentioned.

Christianity = Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and living a life in accordance with his teachings and commandments of love God with your whole being and love others as yourself. Jesus is perfect. True christians are to live a life that is pleasing to God. We try to be at peace with our fellow man. You will know that they are Christians by their love.

These people who are fighting don't sound much like Christians, do they? That is because they are tied down with religious beliefs and are not tolerant to others belief. They are more than likely not true Christians but merely religious people (fanatics, zealots) fighting with others who don't agree with their point of view. Religion and Christianity are two very different things. They are NOT one in the same.

Ultimately, this is not really a religious issue. It is human nature. People disagree. They get angry. Some people are unstable and will kill over disagreements. It is why some husbands will kill their wives for not cooking their steak right. It is why we fight wars over oil or land or creed. It is why criminals commit crimes. Why would it be any different with religion? People are people, and some of them are crazy people. That is ultimately what this is really about. It has little to do with their beliefs in themselves.

Rick,

You can continue to point to man's injustices to man and continue to harden your heart or you can listen to that still small voice of God calling to your heart. If you allow hypocrites to keep you out of heaven, you are destined to spend eternity in hell with them and separated from God.

Look at the facts honestly, my friend. More people have died in the name of Godless athieism than anything else. Get it straight.

You know what? There comes a time when Jesus Himself says enough is enough. He said that in the case of the Pharisees when He told the parable of the soils, (Matthew 13:3-9). His disciples asked Him why He spoke to them in parables? Jesus answer was that it is not for the Pharisees to know the Truth, but that He was revealing the Truth to His followers. He explained the meanings of the parables to His disciples, but not to the Pharisees, because he did not want them to understand.

You say, "Well that's not fair! Jesus wasn't being very nice, witholding the Truth from them, how can He then be justified in condemning them to hell, when He didn't let them hear the Truth?"

Look at the previous chapter. In Matthew, chapter 12, Jesus tells the Pharisees that they had just comitted blasphemy, now He is not revealing Truth to them anymore. They had their chance and they blew it. You have your chance too and you have it again and again, but there is a time coming when Jesus will not allow you to hear the Truth anymore. He is doing it out of love for you. You are going to be held accountable for what you know and the bible says that to the one whom greater knowledge has been revealed, there will be a greater judgement. Jesus was being nice to the Pharisees by cuting off the Truth from them. Every time someone hears and rejects the Truth their heart becomes a little harder. Jesus was limiting the judgement they would face. He will extend that same mercy to you, but you will be judged guilty based upon the knowledge that you have.

Because I love you as Christ loves you, this is the last warning I will give you. I will share no more Truth with you, because I have already shared all you need to know to make an informed decision for Jesus Christ, but your heart is getting harder and harder with each successive rejection of the Truth. Therefore I will simply say God loves you and doesn't want you to condemn yourself to hell, He has provided a way out. Jesus has greater patience than I. He has not cut you off from understanding the Truth yet, but His patience does not go on forever.

I'd like to see you in heaven, Rick, but you're not going to get there the way you're going. You need to turn around.

It is one thing to be in a religion and another to have a relationship with God..
All of the different religions DO NOT have the same God..
They may say and believe that they do, but what you have written is that "you don't understand" and the thing is that "they don't either"
They may think that they are serving God by blowing themselves up and other people with them. They believe it with all their heart and with all their heart they are wrong.
So what is to understand, they are wrong and are making mistakes that affect us all. Life has always been that way since man wanted his religions instead of a true relationship with God.
The world will never be in order until Jesus Christ himself rules on his throne in Jerusalem and runs this world correctly.

you're saying "faith" is in charge. In so a methods by using fact the observe faith, which describes a definite set of practices between a definite team who believe particular innovations, then confident, I agree. (christian right here) in spite of the reality that, it is likewise genuine that 1000's daily who evaluate themselves of elementary intelligence or greater advantageous proceed to equate "faith" with God and the Bible and Jesus Christ, that is all approximately faith. faith itself does not shop all and sundry. that is like asserting that going to a definite church all your existence, examining the Bible, giving funds to the church you're in, coaching Sunday college, travelling the unwell, etc., etc. gets all and sundry to heaven and secure in the hands of God. it won't. The scriptures are sparkling in this, as in case you haven't any longer heard this beforehand.

People have been fighting and killing over it for thousands of years.
It is foolishness.
I don't have a better answer than that.

Your aim is useless and senseless. All religions have been and always will be involved in hate, killing, and war. ALL RELIGIONS regardless of their god or there religious beliefs.
