the last time we went out I hopped out of his car and accidentally left my cd collection in his car. When he dropped me off he said he would like to see me again. I didn't hear from him for two weeks so I finally gave him a call at which point he tells me he's sorry but he's just not interested but would still like to be friends. He lives at a distance and I have asked him three times to send me my CD's.
I am a huge music lover ! It took me years to buy my collection not to mention lots of money and I would really like my CD's back!
Its been months now and still NO CD's !
Any ideas on how I can get him to finally send me my property? What do you think about this guy? Bad enough that he lead me on but keep my cd collection too?! What gives? I found out that we have opposite tastes in music ! Did he suddenly change his mind and taste in music too?

He lives out of state. I shouldn't have to travel hundreds of miles to get my cd's when he promised he would send them.

I believe dating is to find the rite match for you. We all have a match and miss matches this doesn't' make them bad or good people.
I don't believe most people are out to hurt others. Alot of men don't know exactly what they are looking for with the exception of the physical. So never take it personal if it doesn't work out. It was an act of respect to let you know how he felt instead of disappearing.
If you know were he lives and you believe it's safe you should just arrange a time to go to his house and pick them up. Most of the time people will not go out of there way to help you un-less they have something to gain..
If it's music you can get on lime wire I wouldn't wast my time ...if you don't get a response.

Set up a meeting with him to return your property. You can meet each other half way.
If he refuses, send him a certified letter asking him one final time to return your CDs. Make sure you document all the times you've asked him to return your property (dates, times, etc.), as well as the exact CDs he is to return. Advise him in this letter that he has a set amount of time to return them or you will take him to small claims court. If he doesn't return them in that timeframe, go file your claim.
In the future, I wouldn't take something so valuable to you with you when you're out with someone casually.

Hmm.. two options:Ask him if he would like to be on Judge Judy over some CD's-lol no that would be ridiculous. Seriously, I think your best bet is to bite the bullet and re-buy the ones that were "lost" and consider it a lesson learned.
Best wishes

My idea of how to get your property back is to break in his house and take that **** or have a friend pose as a slutty date who wants to sleep with him and have her over there and take that ****.You can pretend to be friends with him and go over his house and take it.I also think the guy is an asshole whose a theif at heart. He may have end up liking the music he maybe vindictive in some way or lost or broke them.

Ask the police what to do.
It's mostly against the law to record someone on the phone, but maybe you could get someone, even a Police person, to listen in on a 3 way conversation (speakerphone?), when u & he talk about him having the collection.
Then, that person(s) can be you witness, and you can thraten to talk him to small claims court, if he doesn't give it back (just the threat that someone else heard him amit it may scare him!).
If u can, tell his parents!

Call him, and make an appointment to pick up your CDs. After that move on.

Well, first you can call him again, and tell him if he doesn't give them back you'll call small claims or the community police.
