Yep, that's what the real world is like. A long series of yucky things with a few moments of beauty in between so stop and look at the nice stuff when you can.

Why did you do that?
I'm going to have nightmares for months. But first, I am going to kill every spider and bug I find. I might even attack things that even remotely look like a spider too, just in case.
Then I'm going to sterilize every surface of my house.
You just may have converted everyone who's seen that into a paranoid, obsessive compulsive wreck!!
