from what i understand from a few internet faqs, creatine is supposed to be taken every day.

but last week i bought "Body Fortress" brand creatine and on the back the instructions says to take it once before your workout and once after and says nothing about taking it on off days.
and there is 5 grams of creatine in each of those servings.

is that right?
should i be taking everyday instead?

after the initial loading period you really only have to take it on training days.

not recommended.. I never tried creatine all though I have taken protein shakes [usually 2 lazy to do them thouhg lol], yea, go figure I work out 4-5 times a week but am too lazy to make myself a shake after every workout lol. I guess my point is all of this stuff makes your kidneys work extra and even though I haven't done it, I know as a fact you probably should not over-do it. back to the point, as the person above me said 5 grams a day is plenty.. I probably wouldn't even do the loading method [then again i probably wouldnt use creatine] but if you are going to, drink a gallon of water on the days that you take the creatine [you may look bloated but its necessary to assist your kidneys] and give them a rest on the off days. best of luck
