they got to prison the same way as anyone else. they do not get special treatment for being a cop because they are no longer a cop.they are sent to the prison area that holds their type of crime.

depends on crime-federal or state
definately not at the one where they worked near for their jusidiction--some sent out of state and area
usually up to pre sentence report and plea agreement--have kow some sent to west coast from east coast to be far removed from associates

i think every state has its own minor differences from everyone, but in general, they are int he same prison just in a nicer, better cell

Depend on what type of crimes they have been convicted of. If state crimes, state prison, if federal crimes, the federal slammer.
