God is a diety. Mother nature is a term or slang regarding the earth. God created the world and all nature and He is to be worshipped and glorified for it.

because mother nature is what some may consider what we see here on earth, what "controls" the weather and all. but there had to be something higher to create the other planets and universe, and that is where God comes in.

The Classical Greeks called Mother Nature "Gaia"....
So Hellenic Polytheists believe in Her....
To Gaia by Eremites Plato
Great Gaea,
Mother of gods and humans,
Eternal and ancient;
Tired is your body
Of persistent smoke from factories,
And yellowish turns your face
That should stay green forever.
Yet you are not forgotten
For we still listen to your words
And shed tears,
Seeing your fate.
We still love you, Mother,
And shall fight for you,
Bless us then,
Give us strength
And encourage your children -
The pagans.

It's because they were told as children that if they believe any different, they'll be tortured eternally. Tis sad.
The answers to the divine are all in nature. The sexual act and conception parallels the event that brought us the moon. The trinity is sun, earth and moon. It's just right in front of our faces but few will allow themselves tosee it.

Why do so many people think human beings are separate from nature?
The Christians think only humans have a soul, and therefore don't fall under the laws of nature or are above it.
The secular progressive think that human beings are superior to nature, and therefore have the power to manipulate it or destroy it.
Either way, you are placing humans high above their actual place in existence.

Because God didn't create us to hug a tree, He created us,
to worship HIM.
Jesus calmed the storm, not mother nature.
God Bless.

People who believe in god, live in fear and shame. They don't appreciate nature the way it should be appreciated. They're too busy living for a day that will never come. This life is unjust and only temporary. Some people can't deal with that reality.

Yes, we can see nature, but what is your evidence that nature has a spirit?
