Sometimes in a morning he doesn't have third eyelid having had a catnap outside, I really need some good advice and fast!!

this is one of the symptons of feline lukemia. Have you been keeping up to date on its vaccinations?

Sometimes the "3rd eyelid" indicates the kitty's feeling "under the weather" . Is it visible in both or 1 eye?
1 eye may be a scratch/infection,...2 eyes could be a sign the cat's feeling a bit "off",... when did it start?

We already told you, so long as it's not over when he's awake and walking around it's not a problem!

He always HAS a third eyelid, you just can't see it all the time.

Hmmm!!..

never hurd of that befor i would take it to the vet!
he/she sounds like a wearid but wonderful animal lol!

in some cases its dehydration
make sure your cat has plenty of water
