The bible says anyone from any background is welcomed to come to Him but you have to go through Jesus to do so. That little stipulation seems to offend a lot of people but God wishes to honor Jesus by making His death payment for the sins of only those who will accept Him as their Savior.

Not according to Christianity. They believe people of various backgrounds and beliefs will be sent to hell by their jealous, sadistic and genocidal god.

His Word tells us to not be "unequally yoked." So while He is very forgiving, I don't think "open mind" describes our Heavenly Father.

He makes it pretty clear in the bible that He is a jealous God, and that He will destroy blasphemers and false idols.

how many children do you have?
Do you have an open mind?
Can they do whatever they want to or.......do you suppose you sometimes know what is best for them?
And would you restrict some activities to protect the other siblings in your family?
He is open to things that don't destroy that is obvious to me when I read the bible.

You are humanizing God, He is beyond everything, We see god they way we judge people, hence come up with all these things.
