I have no doubt that their are those people who are using their faith as a way to say they are right. This is not right- a true believe should share their faith with those who are willing to hear it. It is not the believer's job to convert people only to lead them to the path of Jesus. God gives people the right the chose and the true believers should do no less.

Because we believe that there is an objective standard for what is "right" versus what is "wrong," when we hold up that standard, we get accused of arrogance.
It's all a matter of worldview. The Christian believes that God has revealed Himself to us through Jesus Christ, and His Word (the Bible). Since it is the Bible that informs our worldview, we trust it to give us what is needed for salvation.
We share this with others, because we are commanded to, and because we want others to enjoy what we have.
It isn't about arrogance. Jesus said this: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) Now, either Jesus told us the truth, or He lied when He said this.
In the natural world, we see a similar truth. If I want to travel from New Mexico to Texas, I should travel on a highway from west to east, not south to north. The same goes for the "right" way to the Father. If we try "another" way, other than Jesus, we will never get there.
If you were trying to get to Texas from New Mexico by traveling south to north, would I be "arrogant" if I told you you weren't on the right road?

John 3 Jesus said no one will see the kingdom of heaven unless they are born again. but once you are born of the spirit and know Jesus is in you you do feel you need to share that with every one it is not arrogance it is love makes you want others to have the Joy you have.
John 3
1 There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. 2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”
3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”

NOT WHEN YOU KNOW YOU'RE RIGHT!
TO A CHRISTIAN WHO KNOWS THAT HE/SHE IS RIGHT, BY DEFAULT EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG. NO ARROGANCE, WE JUST KNOW THAT WE'RE RIGHT.
WHEN YOU'RE "BORN AGAIN", YOU JUST KNOW IT. (WHETHER YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IT, OR NOT,) GOD SPEAKS TO US IN OUR HEART, AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW. YOU'D HAVE TO BE THERE TO UNDERSTAND IT.
CHRISTIANS WHO HAVE ACCEPTED CHRIST AS THEIR SAVIOR GO TO THEIR GRAVE KNOWING THAT IT'S NOT THEIR FINAL RESTING PLACE. BELIEVE IT OR NOT; IT'S YOUR CHOICE. WE'VE ALL GONE THROUGH THE SAME DOUBTS AND FEAR STAGES YOU ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING. WE FOUND OUR OWN WAY TO WORK THROUGH THAT AND MADE A DECISION, BASED ON FAITH, TO ACCEPT JESUS AS OUR SAVIOR.
JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT, IS NO REASON TO CRITICIZE OR BELITTLE IT. UNFORTUNATELY SOME CHRISTIANS DO GET TOO FULL OF THEMSELVES AND CAN BE QUITE OBNOXIOUS. WE'RE ALSO STILL HUMAN BEINGS, SUBJECT TO HUMAN WEAKNESSES. PLEASE, DON'T JUDGE ALL CHRISTIANS BY THE MISGUIDED BEHAVIOR OF A FEW. KEEP QUESTIONING, BUT KEEP PRAYING FOR ANSWERS. ONE DAY, HE'LL ANSWER YOURS, AS WE BELIEVE HE'S ANSWERED OURS.
