I want help wirting a book, can you help?

Are there any free software programs to help me write a book? I want to be able to make covers and page numbers and all that book stuff. I want one that is totally free, no demos please.

OpenOffice, it is free.

It won't help you write the book, but it does have all the features you need. There is a period of learning to get your document set up for a book, with page numbers and headers and footers.
