I cast a circle on my upper deck every morning and every evening to greet the day and say goodnight at day's end. I cast:
Hail and good morning to the spirits of the East
Hail and good morning to the spirits of the South
Hail and good morning to the spirits of the West
Hail and good morning to the spirits of the North.
Inspiration
Transformation
Meditation
Re-birth
East
South
West
North
then I reach up to the sky and whisper "Spirit"
I usually think of shat I want to accomplish that day, what I am happy or sad about...
I feel connected when I call the Quarters, and calling upon the Great Spirit, I feel the presence of everything, and the nothingness.
Great question!
Blessings,

Meditations. I usually read random quotes from different writers (doesn't matter if they're strictly Pagan or not) I greet the sun. In the evening I normally light incense and maybe a candle (depends on what's happened during the day). It tends to change day to day though... there's certain things I do only when the moon is full or in it's "new" phase that I don't do any other time.

I might if I wasn't so busy with two small children... I am trying to get more exercise now that the weather is cooling down, which is very meditative for me. Usually when the sun comes up, my first thought is 'how much time do I have before the kids need me?'
But I consider myself a practical pagan and don't go out of my way to do fancy rituals. I consider all of life to be extremely spiritual, and no one act is more spiritual than another. So I have very little need for rituals.

Oh I love greeting the sun in the morning. There is something very comforting about it to me.

the only one that i'm consistent on is a LBRP before bed. i'm having really great results with that on a personal level. if i'm conscious of the time then i'll try and get in the adorations of the sun. there are a couple things i'd like to get worked into my daily routine, but i'm fighting against a bit of laziness.

Meditations, affirmations, and yes, greeting the sun.

Even if I do not have the time to do anything else, I always give an offering of the day's First cup of Coffee to the Gods.
