We prayed and asked for God to work a miracle in his life. He was so young and needed a marrow transplant or he was not going to survive. He went to a cancer hospital and so far his new marrow is showing great possibilities.
So far he has done well and is going home from the hospital. He says he hopes he never has to come to the hospital again and I am not offended. His wife and he are the kindest people I think I have ever met. They were never rude, insulting or complained. I am so glad for him and her.
Do you think it would be good to send him something inspirational, such as a small plaque with a scripture verse or something?

He and his wife prayed a lot. They sent scripture verses via e mail while this was all going on.

What a kind gesture you are thinking of!

Of course, send him whatever your heart feels correct with.
I am sure he will love any support you have for him.

Good Luck!

If you know that they are religious yes, if you do not know and wish to not offend, I would not. They may think(even though you are not) pushing it upon them.
