John 4:23 "Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

So, if a person claims to be a Christian, yet harbors any belief in a doctrine that clearly has it's origins in pagan religion, then it is that one who is not saved.

First of al Jehovah's Witnesses call themsleves Christians too I know becasuse I heard them say it when we played them in softball.. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life and no on comes to the Father except by Him (John 14:6) so if that is what the person believes and lives, it doesn't make any difference what they call themselves, they will go to Heaven conversely anyone who calls himself a Christian , and does not trully believe this and live it____(and there are people like that who go to church every week and have titles and affiliations, etc etc.....but lie a life of unbelief)that person will not actually go to Heaven The Devil is a liar ! and strives to decieve believers, non-believers, etc because these are the End Times and his time is short Believe in the one sent by the Father today for today is the day of salvation....by the way Why do you ask? Are you Jehovah 's Witness or are thinking of joining..? or do you know someone who is a Jehovah's Witness..?

It is a difficult thing to answer. Because the word of God is clear that they are wrong about many things. Sometimes n reference to some scriptures I see that they don't meet up with God's requirements, and at other times they do. So once again I will give you an answer like I did before about the Mormons, what did the founder of Christianity say?

17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned,

Here we might ask the question: Did the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses make Jesus into someth9ing that God won't recognize? Enough to deny that He ever knew them?

I suppose that is between them and God. I will not want to be included in with them on that question.

I think it's a case by case thing, if a person does not rely wholly on Jesus Christ for his/her salvation, they will be found less than perfect which is what God demands. So a person could be a JW, be totally wrong about the divinity of Jesus (or however else they distort Scripture) but still believe that His sacrifice paid for his/her sins. It's a tough question it's kind of like do you need to be a certain denomination to know the truth of the Bible. I could be convinced otherwise. I'm glad I am Lutheran and believe in grace through faith in Christ Jesus. There are many things in the Bible which are inexplicable but one has to take on faith. I guess the most obvious one is the beginning of it all- can drive a person nuts thinking about it! Now I'm going off on a tangent

The Bible says no. Only those who REPENT go to Heaven. It doesn't matter what your background is or what religion you were raised in. Jesus made it clear in John 14:6.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15

I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:3

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance. Matt 3:8

If they repent and believe in the true God then they will be saved. If they don't then they are damned for eternity. It's our job as Christians to expose false doctrine and try to pull them out of the fire that they don't even know exists.

Jehovah's Witnesses DO believe the Gospel. Their interpretation of the Bible is probably the most literal and straightforward out there (and before you give me a thumbs-down for saying that, you might want to do some homework).

Witnesses don't believe in heaven, though.

Personally, I think it's all wishful thinking. We're all gonna die, and our lives in our current form will be over. NOBODY knows what comes next. And it's pretty stupid to bash somebody for disagreeing with you about the afterlife.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only 144,000 will go to heaven and that number has already been reached. Those that are left must witness and if they do well enough they will live on a new Earth that is supposedly perfect.
The only real way they will get to heaven is if they believe in Jesus Christ and that he died for their sins.

Hi,
According to them there will only be 144K that get to go there. They will act as Kings and Priest and rule over the Earth for the one thousand year reign of Christ. I think they are in for a very Big surprise. In fact I think everyone is in for one. Jesus will be here, and God's Kingdom will be too, but then again so will Heaven so I guess all saved will be in Heaven....even if it's located here on Earth. Read your Bible it's good for the soul. And for all you JW'S out there........ Jesus rules because his Father says so!

I as a Christian believe Jehovah's original purpose for humans remains the ultimate plan, for us to fill the Earth and subdue it.
