Nobody seems to be in any hurry to get rid of them, because big business wants their labor. The home countries get their money. What is the solution, since they are all staying put?

It will be hard to try an make illegal immigrants assimilate into mainstream U.S. society with multiculturalism, & all of the Spanish speaking media in the United States. We should deport all illegal immigrants convicted of a crime, & try to stop future illegal immigration by securing our national borders.

We should help them assimilate. The best way to that would be for the House of Representatives to propose another bill to deal with the assimilation process. And maybe another bill after that to modify the previous bill. After the House passes those bills on to the Senate they could then modify them with increased spending legislation to offset the losses that would hit the companies currently employing illegal workers. By the time they hammer out all the kinks, make all the deals, and modify the original intent, something may be done.
Or, we could just enforce the laws currently on the books.

The USA citizens have spoken with the defeat of the Shamnesty bill >With the media not saying a word on how many raids are being executed> We the people will have to keep up the pressure & calls at least most of the REP=are on our side>>> It's happening slow but going foward>As the States are going on there own>There on the move & being deported> The employers are going to get there buts kicked for hiring the illegals>>

I've lived in areas that had the nicest people....I mean where churches had something like adopt a family to help them in any and all ways imaginable. Free English classes with free daycare during those classes on down the line. Seriously, you couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful. For NOTHING. Wouldn't learn English or anything to be a part of the community. So as far as I'm concerned the ball is their court to show some effort for a change. They don't want to learn English or speak English and just have an attitude that they don't HAVE to try and get along because they are here and they don't want fair competition or anything else.....just back off and make everything as easy as pie with no difficulities what-so-ever and just hand it over. If I hadn't lived in so many different areas and seen what's happening I might just say it's just this area or whatever.....but I've been all over and the problem is the same. I'm even speaking in areas where legal citizens live and they leave because they can't stand it either. We had an incident here where during one of the latino festivals......a legal latino citizen was drug from his truck and beat up because he had an American Flag decal on the bumper. He was a "traitor" in their eyes.
The solution is a very serious attitude adjustment in their own communities with their own people. No other group has been catered and babied and had everything they do wrong and illegal overlooked to the extent of this before. The ball is in there court, or all that's left is to ignore them.
I'll be darned if I'm hiring someone who has this attitude that they can rip me off and there's nothing I can do about it. Or that all they're doing is casing the joint to hit later. It's gotton to the point here where people are having 2 and 3 families "help" with a garage sale because they come in groups and scatter and people have found them in their homes or somewhere else on their property where items weren't for sale and definately not open for the public. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking they just don't know......but how much time is enough time? If they won't learn English how can you communicate it's illegal here to run an extension cord from my house to yours or that if I leave something in my yard it doesn't mean it's up for grabs.....it's theft. That it's unacceptable to take a leak in front of children etc. just because you have to go. It's illegal to flee the scene of an accident. Stop signs mean stop, not give it a whirl and see if you can make it. You don't make crude sexual comments to women and young girls. I don't care if you're speaking in a foreign language and have gotten away with it because people didn't know exactly what you said. That's sexual harrassment.
The latino community needs to wake up and teach these people our laws and make them realize.....you aren't in Mexico or wherever anymore. What was the norm or acceptable there isn't acceptable here. Being a "minority" doesn't give you the right to abuse other people. Or being an up and comming "majority" doesn't give you the right either.

Letting them "stay put" is the problem. Secure the border. Increase the raids. Pass HR 1940 and end the anchor baby incentive to illegal aliens. Go after the employers aggressively. Eliminate all social services to illegal aliens.

In case you haven't seen all the Mexican Independence Day celebrations lately, Mexicans have every intention of staying here and staying Mexican.
There are several American industries that are preventing assimilation because they cater to the community in Spanish language.
Just speaking English is no guarantee either, since I have seen plenty of English-speaking Mexicans waving the Mexican flag proudly.
Mexicans are very assimilation-resistant.

We should deport as many as is possible and secure the border. Any that come into contact with law enforcement should not spend 2 hours in the US before deportation

Maybe they would like us to buy them a car so they wouldn't have to take public transportation. It would make it easier for them to get to the welfare office.
The american people are in a hurry to rid themselves of the invaders.
