Yes and No. When you're underwater your eyes are open and water is in contact with your eyeball. You can cry, there is just no real evidence that you can, because you are already surrounded by water.

I don't think so, the humidity is extremly high (100%) so if your eye ball is totally sorrounded by water you can't possibly have tears in your eyes. You might just feel a huge pain and the will to cry. There might be a possibility of crying under water but I don't really believe in it.

Cry: Yes
Scream: No. Why? Well bc the sound you make is transmitted via air. Under water, this process will not work. Although water is capabe of transmitting sound waves, wales communicate over thousands of miles, the convert 'air sound waves' into 'water sound waves' is possible, but not for you. Especially, when you are under water. All ppl wud hear are the bubbles :-)

YES you can, I have been a Scuba instructor for 8 years and I have seen a few students crying underwater when they have had trouble with a skill, I have also seen some of them cheering and laughing underwater when they manage to get it!!

not really, because when you cry you have to breathe a lot i think. so i guess you could be crying and have tears on your face then go underwater but you wouldn't be able to stay under very long. it's kinda like laughing underwater i think.

I guess you cold cry anywhere if you were sad. under water would be dangerous since crying messes up your breathing. good luck.

Yes, you can cry underwater. You can laugh underwater, cough, sneeze and vomit underwater. You can even drink underwater (which was hard without an air source) and obviously you can eat underwater. How do I know? I've done them all.
