Take him to a Vet because even though he is acting healthy he could be starting to get a serious disease and yes, he could have worms or other parasites causing this too.
The breeders were unethical in selling you a pup that young. What is the food he is eating? That could be part of the problem as well. Even though you got the food at the breeder's he couldn't have been eating it for long. I'd definitely recommend a Vet check-up so your pup gets off on the right paw..
Pumpkin pie filling- feeding him a few tablespoonfuls of it after each loose stool, can help firm him up, but much more important is treating the cause of the diarrhea.
If you get this- get the kind that is plain (just pureed pumpkin, no spices or sugar added).
Hope your pup feels better soon, but definitely, see a Vet.

He shouldn't have been taken away from his mother and littermates until at least 8 weeks. If you got him two weeks ago, does that mean you got him when he was 5 1/2 weeks old? That's definitely too you. No good breeder would ever let a puppy go that young, and in some places, it's illegal. I recommend you take your puppy to the vet. A young puppy that doesn't eat much can go downhill fairly quickly. Get him to the vet ASAP.

Take it to the vet, you need to have a professional telling you to set a vet care plan for your puppy until all the shots are dong, and help you with a health care program for your pup and throughout entire life of the pup. Basically you would need puppy shots until 12 weeks old, then once a year (or every 3 years) depend on the vaccine Rabie shots, and annual K9 shots, and put him on monthly heart worm medication.

Take him to the vet right now, don't even wait for them to be open tomorrow. Call a local animal hospital and bring him in. It could be something mild like worms but if it's Parvovirus, it could kill him in just 3-4 days from onset. 80% of dogs with Parvo die without proper vet care.

At this age, he doesn't even have all his puppy vaccinations yet, probably only 1 of the series so he is not protected. This could be many things but the dreaded fear is Parvo which can kill him fast. You honestly don't have time to debate what it is, you need to take him to a Vet now. There are emergency Vets and clinics, check your phone book and take that puppy in ASAP.

you got him too young to start off ... 5 1/2 weeks is TOO YOUNG for a pup to be away from his mom.. 6 is minimum but 8-10 is better.. shame on the breeder!!!
he should have been vaccinated and dewormed BEFORE you got him - and you shouldnt have taken him anywhere off your property yet - so worms shouldnt be the problem.. but to be sure you can take a stool sample to the vet...
some viruses (like PARVO) can be carried on the soles of your shoes.. so its good to be cautious...
if his stools are black and extra smelly RUSH to the vet.. this is a sign of Parvo and its deadly...otherwise wait till monday then call vet..
you can call the breeder in the mean time...and ask them

Your puppy is overdue for a veteranarian visit, so get him to one.
His problem could be worms, or a tender digestive tract? It could be an infection for all you know.
I hope you will be a responsible pet owner and get the pup to the vet soon. He really needs immunizations and to have a worming, as well as a physical exam.

have you been keeping up on his shots? because when they are little they need shots..i would take him to your vet and make sure he is UTD on everything he needs..and being the fact that you got him a couple weeks before he should have been taken away from his mother could have a little to do with it..they shouldn't be taken away till about 6-8 weeks, most breeders will wail 8-10..just for health reasons..not your fault, just the breeders

Take him to the vets before he gets dehydrated. could have worms, could have eaten something around the house. There are certain table foods that will make a dog deathly ill. See the vet before it gets worse.
