no. u need at most 3 glasses of milk a day (24 ounces/3cups)- and thats only for women (who need more milk every day than men)

the minimun servings of food from the dairy group (from food pyramid) are two-three servings a day. one serving could be:
1 cup of milk or yogurt
1 1/2 ounces of natural cheese
2 ounces of processed cheese

No, that's not true.
All the hubbub about milk and dairy products helping you lose weight is a fluke. The study was developed and sponsored by....wait for it.....the American Dairy Association. (no wonder they'd say something like that!).
In fact, it's been proved by an independent study that consuming a large amount of dairy piles on the fat; as even the "low-fat" versions of milk, yogurt and cheese still have a high fat content.

If you are very young you do need to drink a lot of milk cause your bones are still forming and you need calcium. If you are around 14-16 two glasses would be good. From then on your bones are formed but you can still drink milk if you want. :)
