Track of what? How much you charged? If you've paid them?
You get monthly statements for each account. When you make a payment, note the date, amount, and check # on the portion of the statement you keep. File the statement -- separate folder for each credit card.
You should also review each statement to make sure there are no extra charges.
If you can't keep track of what you charged on which card, you are charging too much.
Personally, I think 2 major credit cards, which you pay in full each month, are sufficient. Only have store and gas charge cards if you have some specific reason. Anything more is a security risk, even if you are not charging on the accounts. There are too many opportunities for problems in securing and monitoring multiple accounts.
Be sure to pay off the account before closing. Send a letter to close the account and request written confirmation that the account is closed. Keep these with your important financial documents.
Yes, closing credit card accounts will drop your score but it will rebound quickly. You do want to keep your oldest account open as closing it would close your history.

Credit cards are not easy to get. The only reason you have them is because they believe you are credit worthy.
They all send their billing statements. That's how you keep track of them. You can also track your account on the Web.

I would enroll in autopay for each one and/or then use your banks online bank system to schedule the payments. Best thing to do is consolidate them into as few cards as possible and close them. Be aware however that your credit score might actually go down as a result of this for awhile since your percentage of available credit that is available being used will be over 50%.

Two to Three is enough to handle. If you got more than three you have to many, Get rid of them. Just imagine this. What would you do if you lost or all of your credit cards were stolen?

Buy Quicken to set up and download your statements. You can also keep track of your money this way.
