no religion, atheist
I used to be an Orthodox Christian until the age of 12, my parents' position is "do whatever you like as long as it's not harmful to anyone", my parents haven't really cared about my religious beliefs or lack of such

1. I am a Christian.
2. I was raised by parents who left the church. My dad thinks religion is for the weak minded; my mom just finds she can't believe the teachings anymore.
They were children of the 1960s and saw (still see) religion in negative terms. I would describe them as agnostic.
3. My parents' beliefs continue to influence me, and I am almost 38 years old. I find myself trying to answer my Dad's questions about my beliefs, defending them even, even when he is not around. I think the disbelief I was raised with has made it far more difficult for me to fully commit to any church. (which isn't such a bad thing I guess)
Still, the fact the my heart yearns so much for the divine, despite my upbringing, encourages me all the more to continue on my path, and to commit to that voice within as much as I can.
All the best.

My religion is: Jehovah's Witness
I was not raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
I was raised as a Catholic because my parents were Catholic. I found out in my teen years that sincere questions that I was asking the priest and nuns were never answered. They belittled me and told me that I was to believe only what they told me or to realize that all of life's questions are just a "mystery".
I then asked Jehovah's Witnesses those same questions when they knocked on my door and very nicely they showed me in the Bible the answers to my earnest questions. I studied and realized I had finally found the truth from the Bible. Therefore I became on of them. I have never been happier.

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka LDS or Mormon). I was Raised LDS and love my religion. I like to believe that I would have found the truth on my own if I wasn't raised with it. More than half of all Mormons are converts.

I am a pagan. I was raised without religion, and chose to start exploring my spirituality on my own at the age of 12, I tried a few denominations of the christian church then eastern philosophies and finally found my home with paganism.

Raised a christian but now a humanist. You'd call me atheist but I dont care much for the term. Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.
Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.
Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.
Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.
Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.
Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

I am a Pagan. Preferred title: Kitchen Witch.
I was raised Roman Catholic....but fell out of that faith as age and study came on. My parents encouraged me to find my faith, both then and now.
Good Luck and Goddess Bless.

Atheist, I have no religion. I was at one time baptized and considered baptist. My parents didn't have any influence on my becoming of an atheist, I just looked into it myself.
