Why not? I never fought in a war, but I served in the US Army for 5 years and earned two Honorable Discharges. Had war broke out somewhere, I was in just the kind of battalion that would go first in our theatre of operations--11B--Infantry.

No. Glad you brought this up. True Christians abstain from wars, but anything else, atheists, baptists, etc., are right there in the thick of things as usual promoting anarchy and chaos.

What does Daniel 2: 44 stipulate about the governments and militaries of the world? It states that they will be destroyed and anyone mingling in them. This is necessary to make room for a heavenly government that will rule supremely over the earth and it will never be brought to ruin or go to war --- not ever.

This is after Armageddon takes place as at Armageddon, any non-believers, animalistic men/women, all of wicked mankind will be permanently destroyed with no chance of resurrection again---to ruin things for the good people; yes, 90% of the world's population will be annihalated at Armageddon so there will be a lot of room on the beautiful earth and it will be made back to its parasidic state before it was ruined by mankind and satan.

The 10% who truly love Godly standards and Bible truths will live on a paradise earth free from wars, famine, racism, liars, rapists, murderers, fornicators, adulterers, bestiality, extortioners, thieves, drunkards, revilers, homosexuality, unnatural use of the flesh...yes this question you pose, questioner, will never need to be asked again because all of those "PRETENDING" to be religious won't be around anymore to START ANYMORE WARS.

Won't that be awesome? I have a strong hope I will be amongst the 10% but only God can make that call. I hate what God hates, so I hope I will be amongst the living. How about you?

I'm in one of the worst spiritual warfares that I have ever been in today. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood - There is spiritual evil trying to take over this world. Read the Bible in Ephesians 6.

The enemies of the Lord are throughout America and they increase daily.

To answer your question, the greatest fighting General in America was George Washington. Paintings of him show him on his knees praying to Almighty God for America. This man won a war "against all odds."

Religious people have always fought in wars. My forefathers fought to preserve our freedom and may God bless every one of those honorable men. Good must always fight against evil and good will always fight against evil. It is the way of God. There is no greater warrior than Jesus the Christ. If Churchhill hadn't persuaded Roosevelt to come into WWII you may be speaking German today and living under a dictatorship worse than Saddam Hussein. If you don't fight radical Islam you will be reading the Quran and bowing toward Mecca 5 times a day. I plan to fight with everything in me for my God, my Bible, my country and my freedom. The God of the Quran (Koran) is not my God. Allah is a crescent moon god picked from 360 idols in Mecca and made famous by Muhammad. I worship Jesus Christ and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Jesus Christ is Lord.

Freedom is not free. These cowards of anti-war demonstrators in Washington have never done without anything. They can thank their fighting forefathers for that. They listen to these brainwashing professors in the anti-christian colleges funded by foreign men and foreign religions or devout atheists who do not know the history of America.

Thank God for George Bush. He has eyes to see evil. He cannot be persuaded by these people teaching that Islam is a peaceful people. Christian muslims are peaceful people. Atheist muslims are peaceful people. Islamic muslims are not peaceful people.

Surprisingly, most combatants in wars are religious people. Jehovah's Witnesses choose to follow the instructions of Jesus Christ, who said at Matt. 5:44: "However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those persecuting you." For that reason, Jehovah's Witnesses will not fight in wars for ANY reasons.

Depnds on whatever their particular 'voice in their head' tells them.

So far the evidence would suggest that its hard to keep them out of them....

someone quoted Churchill and Bush as 'positive' examples of religious war leaders.... God(s) help us!

Isn't it funny? The same people who are apologists for killing in wars are often the same ones who insist on taking the Bible literally. In those terms, then, read Exodus 20 which does not say "Thou shalt not murder unlawfully" or "Thou shalt not kill, except in a just cause", but plain old "Thou shalt not kill". NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GIVEN!!!

This not presumably being enough for the literalists, Christ does not contradict this in the gospels as he does with "an eye for an eye" but preaches "love thy neighbour as thyself" and "Turn the other cheek".

But hey maybe I'm wrong make up your own mind.
