The church has never been perfect, and God tolerated the disobedience of the corporate church for quite some time. But the time has come that God’s longsuffering patience with the church is over and His judgment has begun upon the churches:
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. (Revelation 2:21,22)
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God… (1 Peter 4:17)

We are in the great tribulation.
However, the character of the great tribulation is not one of physical violence; but rather of spiritual unfaithfulness in the churches and congregations of the world towards the Word of God. It is characterized by a widespread emphasis on signs and wonders. The churches of our day (all denominations: whether Catholic or Protestant) have fallen away tremendously from the truths of the Bible:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:21,24)
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

What you are talking about here, is what is known as "legalism".

When the Christian church started, only the teachings of the Apostles was followed. But later, when the Apostles were gone, MAN decided to try to interpert what Jesus wanted, instead of lettng the Holy Spirit lead them, as was done when the Apostles were alive-hence:

hypocrisy, & everything else that has been mentioned here!

I wish I knew the answer to this; I do know that Satan works in what God describes in Scripture as the "four hidden dynasties" -
They are:
Education
Politics
Economy
Religion - and oh, how Satan loves the pulpit; don't forget, its Satan who wanted the postion and throne of Christ - it was Satan who wanted to be your teacher/preacher and savior. Thats what the whole controversy is between Satan and Christ. Don't lose site of that.
And Satan will work in all these areas, but
esspecially in the Churches - IF THE CHURCH ALLOWS HIM IN.
By teaching the ramblings of man, you open the door wide for Satan to come in.

You see, Satan can work thru man and God only knows WHAT that congregation will hear that isn't Biblical. But Satan CANNOT
DO ANYTHING if that Church sticks strictly to the Word of God - there isn't any entrance for satan if you stick to Gods Word, period.
When they leave off teaching the emphatic Word of God, whats left is nothing but man;
and then you get soothsaying - whatever sounds "nice and comfy" to the ear; don't say anything that might offend, and let anybody actively engage in any sin they want to and still embrace them as brothers,
even when they arrogantly refuse to repent of their sin - in fact, lets let one of those who refuse the gift of repentance, who actively lives openly in an abomination to God, and lets put THAT PERSON in as the head of the entire Church.
What do you have now? The one person is who supposed to be the example for the congregation is now an active abomination to God, and who shows the congregation how NOT TO REPENT of their sin, and its
still just fine - don't even concern yourself with that - Jesus will love you anyway.

In short, if many of them were to teach the
Scriptures, it would expose them for exactly what they are: an abomination to God:
What does Scripture say will happen to all that offends? They won't continue to exist,
period. In the eternity, NOTHING WILL BE LEFT THAT OFFENDS. I think thats clear.

I don't think churches feel their teachings supercede the Bible, but rather they are trying to interpret the scriptures so their congregation can better understand the word.

What churches? yours? How do you know what they are teaching? are you a bible scholar or just posing questions that have no basis due to your choice of not wanting to know the truth? You did not say (some) churches, you stated churches period. so apparently you know the truth and none of the churches out there know it, only you. How arrogant. What a joke, to call churches " empires of evil" to loop all of them into one category comes from an uneducated self centered individual who believes himself to be the sole owner of the truth created in his own mind.

Don't you know? Give a man a white shirt and tie, put him behind the Church pulpit and his IQ shoots up 40 points. All of a sudden he knows more about your God and the Bible than the people who wrote it.

They don't think so.They think they are expanding contents of Bible for the nimble minds but can't help in inserting their own misplaced thoughts in to their teachings.Like in Islam,it's now the turn of Christian clergy to hijack the religion and distort it beyond recognition. We should be prepared for the end results.

after so many years of study, people have found the inconsistencies written in bible and have shifted focus on "revelation" from a "now" god that is called Rhema and better than written text, which by the way cannot be proven but must be trusted and is used for manipulation to control others

teachings are like buttholes, everone has them and they all stink

Churches are empries of evil, shoving their lies into the minds of innocent children.

They are only interested in money.
