If the dog was not humping your leg prior to it's owner leaving , it may be a sign of missing the owner.
It may also be a sign of needing attention from you wile the owner is away. This is probably a small dog , try to give the dod re-direct when it starts this humping - by holding, petting,and cuddling.

You should always discourage a dog from humping. Just give a stern "NO"...don't yell, and push the dog off gently. It may take a few times to get the dog to realize it needs to stop. You can introduce the dog to an exciting new toy so he focuses on that instead of your leg.

Let me clear something up for you. What you are experiencing from this dog is not "sex". It is about dominance. Dogs have this instinct about their territory and their masters. They don't like sharing sometimes. Since they can't talk and express their feelings of jealousy, their instinct is to hump. It is a way of showing you who is boss, it is not about getting off.
So yes, you do need to stop it. But be comforted knowing that you aren't being used for sex. It's a power play. Show him you won't allow it and also make him your "friend" as opposed to your adversary.

if this is true, it's a behavioral problem. "scruff" the dog when he does it.
remove him from your leg, and get him by the scruff of the neck.. hold him down to the ground firmly while telling him don't or no... you dont' have to "hurt" the dog, just hold him down for 20 seconds or so
this is how Alpha dogs in the wild discipline their subordinates... and it works... but you have to be consistent... and so does your girlfriend.

Unless your enjoying it I would suggest you DO stop him, although, as long as you dont have full intercourse its perfectly legal to allow him to carry on!!!
Its a dominance thing - he's trying to show you whos boss and at the moment it looks like its him.
