ALL holy books, the Talmud, Bible, Koran, Rig Veda etc were written by men.

They all show the influences and prejudices and values of the time they lived in.

If you interpret them in the correct way there is much wisdom in religion. However people pervert religion to suit their own ends.

People take religious writings literally only if they are uneducated, or weak minded. They need religion as a crutch, so they dont have to think and feel for themselves.

God is the author of Sacred Scripture because it has been written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Church accepts as sacred and canonical all of the books of the Old and New Testament, whole and entire, with all their parts.
God chose and inspired certain men who used their own powers in writing. The Spirit showed them what he wanted written and no more. They were still true authors.

Because all that the human author wrote was affirmed by the Spirit, these books teach faithfully and without error what God wanted to reveal for our salvation.

Nevertheless, the Christian faith is not a "religion of the book" but of the living Word of God (Jesus).

The Bible was written by men that's about all you got right. But then I am a believer is what it says and you apparently are not. The quote tell me how the scripture came to be and how I believe the "religious scholars" were able to produce it.
2 Tim3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

These are stories written by men to control men. Since there is no god the only inspiration was the leader in charge, usually religious.

Wait, you are saying that scholars wrote the Bible? Scholars when, and who?

Your entire suggestion is full of fallacies my friend. Do your own research next time. Early Church leaders wrote the manuscripts that were complied into the Bible. The manuscripts that didn't make it in were not compatible with the Gospel. Its not a control thing. Besides, what kind of control do you think the Bible advocates? Loving other people? Oh no, thats a horrible thing!

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

Where's the contol in this?

You would do well to read the Bible first and not listen to men, before you write such ignorance.

Yes He wrote three. God wrote the Torah, Bible and The Dead Sea Scrolls as science books before mankind mislabeled them as religious books. No one can argue against proven science. These three books over time will make all other religious books wrong and obsolete.

Well I certainly don't! I do believe in God but believe that books, such as the Bible, are written by men to control people.
