I'm with you.
For one thing, the Bible says that "the love of money is the root of all evil" and the Pope (Not just this one, all of them) sure love their money. Some say it is the richest organization on the face of this earth. But when there is a castrophe on earth, do they give of their wealth? No, the Pope stands up and appeals to the nations of the world to give.

Ever since the time of the Reformation there have been many Protestants who say that the office of the Pope is a type of the anti-Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
The claims of the office of the Pope, that salvation can only be found through a human church with the Pope as it's head and that the Pope is the Vicar of Christ here on earth seem to elevate that office to positions where Jesus, the head of the church, and the Holy Spirit the true Vicar of Christ on earth have been usurped by a man.

Obviously not BUT I can't help but wonder...Who made you his judge? Who made you anyone's judge? Didn't Jesus reportedly say that whoever is without sin should cast the first stone? Are you that sinless person? If there is a judgement don't you have enough to worry about without worrying about a little old German living in Rome?
As for me I am no longer Catholic or Christian so the Pope has as little to do with my life as the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem, the king of Saudi Arabia, the head of the Chinese communist party or any other religious leader.

Of course he is evil.
He usurps the place of Christ.
He heads the largest antichristian organisation that has mercilessly persecuted and murdered God's people and prohibited the Bible. Even today they distort, misrepresent and blatantly deny it's teaching.
He defies the truth of the Bible, and claims authority over the Apostles and the Bible though it clearly states that God's people, God's church is built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
Our only authority is the Bible which contains the Apostles words. There is no other authority. The Bible makes that clear and tells us to listen to them and no one else.
There is much, much more, but that is quite clearly enough.

I can think of a lot of people who rank well ahead of the Pope in terms of being evil. Try Osama bin Laden, for starters. When the Pope is that bad, then I'll start to worry about him, otherwise it's called keeping it in perspective.

NO.... The WORD.... Says SO....!
That is why.... The Catholic Church....Has Christ STILL... On the Cross ! In Every Catholic Church.... Jesus is Still... On the Cross....!
(Hebrews 12:2) Looking unto Jesus = the author and finisher of our faith; = Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, = and is set down = at the right hand = of the throne of God.
NOT... stilll on the Cross....!
(Matthew 15:14) Let them alone: = they be blind leaders of the blind. = And if the blind lead the blind, = both shall fall into the ditch.
Thanks, RR

NO. I don't think the Pope is evil, but I do think the people he is supposed to represent are stupid for believing he is the go-between to God or whatever.

The pope is more mental than evil, his ideas "supposedly" come from God, so they both must be mental and evil. I don't see how any human being with a functioning mind can actually believe in the fictitious stories in the bible.
