forget political correctness, this is the internet folks ;) what's the craziest religion you personally have ever heard of that is being practiced today? that just makes you stop and go.. wha.. and wonder why in the hell people would believe such nonsense? just curious :P

Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ). Men are separated from women during worship, and women must wear skirts. Haha. And they have this "attendance sheet". If they notice that you haven't been worshipping, they will go to your house and interrogate. They have this tv network and all they do is contradict another religion (Ang Dating Daan). Is that crazy enough?

Mormonism always cracks me up, but really, every religion is silly and childish in its own way. It's time for people to grow up and stop needing some father figure or needing to feel better than others!

As strange as another's beliefs may be to me, I have learned that all people have complicated histories. I've been humbled too many times by arrogantly assuming that others are stupid and that their experience is meaningless.

Mormonism
Mormons believe:
They will be a god of their own planet when they die
They can be baptized for the dead who weren't
That the god of earth was Adam
That you can go through a ceremony now and be married for all of eternity in heaven.
That Armageddon will happen somewhere in Missouri
OH there a whole list of things that are wild.
I'm amazed that I know educated people who buy into these lies. Sad

Mine, most likely. I'm not aware of any other religion that pushes the boundaries of faith and reality so far.
Fortunately, maybe, I'm the only member.
