You'll subscribe to the Sunday New York Times, and spend Sunday mornings listening to NPR and reading the Times with your morning coffee.

You'll become far more well-informed about the world and develop the capacity to contribute in a positive way.

Nothing will happen, your in church everywhere you go. The entire universe and beyond is God's church. A building that was designed for worshipping of God (which we call church) is just a man made structure orginally (back in the biblicle days) to be a school of the teachings of God. Then one day someone came up with the idea that you had to GO there in order to talk to God. But in fact you can talk to God whereever you may be for he is everywhere.

Also the idea of "going to church" was idealized in the early days as a way for people to make money from the idea of God. You see a church requires people to run it, and rather then donate thier time they get paid, and the church needs things like electricity, maintanance and such. A portion of the money donated for these things for a church goes to the people who run it as salary. This is called a business, and a church is in the business of selling God.

In the old testament any place where a minion was established (10 believers) with one of them being a "Cohen" (rabbi or teacher of the word) and another being a "Levite" (caretaker) meant you had a "church" (or synagouge).

In christianity it is even easier, you do not need a religious leader or caretaker, you just need yourself, your faith, and your thoughts of God.

There also is another reason "Church" become popularized. The Sabbath as describe is the day of rest, the seventh day, in which God commanded that people rest. This meant that no work, play or other activities took place on this day. (Sat. for Jews and Sunday for Christians). Therefore people got bored, so they went to church because it made sense to them that since they couldn't work, play etc. they could worship together to keep from getting bored.

You will find a greater and more personal relationship with God ...

"No structure of wood and stone can contain the Kingdom of God, for God's Kingdom is within you and all around you. Split a piece of wood and you will find it. Pick up a stone and there it is!

I see most, if not all, Preachers as The Devil's Horsemen.

Long live Rock N Roll ! - Ever listen to Ozzy's "Diary of A Mad Man" Take those words and apply them to preachers and see what you come up with.

"How many times can the fill me with lies and I listen, again. Twistin' the truth and their playin' around with my head. Ok! The things they will do and the things they will say when they don't really understand. I can't imagine what empty heads can achieve! Leave me alone, don't want your promises no more ........... "

I don't think anything will happen to you. Church is where people of the same faith gather to worship. You can worship God no matter where you are or who you're with. Have a good day!

You'll sleep later on Sunday morning. You'll save the money you might have put in the collection plate. You will use your car less, therefore saving gas AND reducing carbon dioxide emissions and reduce the fear of global warming.

Nothing, church has nothing to do with God really, it's a nice place to go and be around other people who think like you do and want to worship God like you do, but as for being necessary for salvation, no, it's not.

Going to church doesn't determine your fate in any way. The way you get to heaven is believing that Christ died and rose again for your sins, simple as that. Church helps you grow in your walk and great for fellowship w/other believers, but it doesn't determine anything.

You will bend the knee before a Judge that is fair and just.We all will kneel before Him one day, whether we go to Church or not. Those that do not go to church because they love not the Lord, will be found in the same place that the hypocrites are that do go to church.

Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

To me,the church is a building where people come to worship God.God is not there until they come there.God is within everyone who believes in him.The church is just a place to be with others that believe as you do.As long as you keep God in your heart and mind, you'll be in his thoughts. You're fine.
