At minimum, a ticket or citation for littering.
Or, a ticket for placing dangerous debris on a roadway.
Or, if it was thrown at a person or vehicle, Aggravated Assault.
Or, if it hit someone, Aggravated Battery.
Not to smart to do.

Well, if ya got caught..you could be cited for littering, having an open container in your vehicle, although you were not drinking, and if it hits sumone's car & does damage you could be held responsible for the damage done to the car. All because you are the driver and it is your vehicle.
But if ya didnt get caught, dont worry about it. The next time you pick up your friends, try to keep them under control so that it doesnt happen.

You can be held responsible because you are in control of the vehicle and are responsible for the occupants in it. If you do get called on it, if the person who actually threw the bottles will confess to doing it then you probably won't get in any trouble. If the guy who did it won't confess to doing it, tell the truth, that you were trying to be a responsible friend and take care of your drunk friends who were in no condition to drive themselves home. You were doing a good deed, so you should not get in trouble !

Two things could happen.
1. Throwning anything out of a vehicle is considered littering...I am sure you have seen a sign telling you what the fine and costs are if caught.
2. If you hit something with a bottle it would be considered Malicious Destruction of property. If it hits a person it could possibly be felonious assault.
Next time make sure they dont have any "ammuniton" with them before you leave the party...

Because you were the driver, you could be ticketed for disorderly conduct if nothing else, (quite the catch-all).
Obviously they will not be able to prove you were drinking and driving so you are safe there.
If you do get ticketed, plead not guily and explain what happened. Never accept a ticket and simply pay it, it's always worth a shot.
Hopefull it did not hit anyone or anything, but you probably would have heard from them by now if that was the case.

As the driver, you are responsible for the activities of the occupants of your car. You should never have let them in the vehicle with beer bottles. Charges aside, I think you may be able to successfully persuade a judge that your good deed of picking up intoxicated friends, (rather than have them drive drunk), trumped your friends illegal acts once in your care. If anything, you may be able to have the police charge them, instead of you, for the littering and reckless conduct charges.

No it cant be seen a legal and submitting a rfile would not even help because of the fact such as you suggested you should no longer see the drivers vehicle or the motor vehicle plate and those could be some specific issues you're able to desire with the intention to record a rfile. So submitting a rfile could only be a lost reason. Im sorry to pay attention approximately your vehicle nevertheless. persons are in order that ignorant presently.

I think that you should rethink just who are your friends.
If they can't be controlled when drunk you will can be held liable if they are in you car. Even if you are completely right & are with them any where when they do these things you could be just as guilty as them.
So if your friends need you help at these times & they don't listen to you it is best to not have any thing to do with them at those times.
