If it's Dailly you mean, I can't say I know the village itself, but it's in South Ayrshire which has lots of very nice places nearby. Girvan: fishing town with great views of the Clyde. Culzean Castle: historic National Trust for Scotland property. Turnberry: world-famous golf course and "posh" hotel. Alloway (Robert Burns's birthplace) is not much further away.

Hmm just had a quick look at the property prices around there, which often gives a feel of what sort of area it is. Very very cheap, which probably doesn't bode well. Don't take my word for it though -I really have no idea!

Subscribe to Dially's daily newspaper or take a weekend visit there. Somebody lives there; go see for yourself.

I "googled" Dially Scotland and found nothing. Are you spelling it correctly?
