Well, I'm 16 years old a d i'm thinking about getting a nose ring. I'm just wondering about what the best nose rings are (different types), and how to clean them and such. Oh, and how do you put the rings IN? =|
And do you think a nose rings would suit me? (theres a picture of me below)

Get a diamond stud, instead of the ring. They look better, and if you are planning on getting a job in the near future, a lot of place will make you take it out if it is a ring, a stud they tend to over-look.

When you get it pierced, be sure to ask for a corckscrew piercing, they are by far more comfortable, and safer. They look just like the name, like a corckscrew that you would find on a bottle of wine or something, easy to put in/take out. And They have a less risk of falling out on their own, and I know this sounds wierd, but if you ever get punched in the nose, or something hits you in the nose, the corckscrew piercing will naturally move towards the back of your nose, so that it doesn't damage the middle/bridge of your nose. lol.

When you get it done, they will either tell you how to change the piercing after the allotted time it has to stay in (for me, it was seven months, for others three weeks, it really varies on your piercer's protocall) Some places will require you to come back to their place, to instruct you on how to change it. So you are doing it correctly.

You will clean your nose piercing with what is basically salt water, Never ever ever twist the piercing, like how you are told to with ear piercings, that will create the hole to become larger, and I don't think that you want a big hole in your nose. lol. So don't do that.

And I think that a diamond stud piercing would look very pretty on you. I got mine pierced at 16 as well, my mother made me do it lol, and now I love it.

in case you question me i think of nostril studs are quite beautiful:) lip rings are beautiful too in the event that they're merely a stud yet i'm no longer loopy correct to the ring. do exactly what you wanna do and don't worry what individuals like. Make your self happy(:

I know you are only 16...but think ahead! Nose rings are somewhat of a fad...everyone I know after getting out of college took theirs out..because while they were job hunting, thay found they were not getting job offers. I had one friend who kept taking hers out when she had to go to work...in the end she just stopped wearing it all together. Doesn't make you cool...just remember that.

I lived on a farm and . we used nose rings to control and to be able to lead large bulls around.
You are a beautiful young Lady why would you want to draw attention away from those gorgeous eyes !
Nah ! don't do it .
P.S. If you decide to get one , go to someone reliable and they will tell you all you need to know .
Don't do it - Keep the attention on you and your personality NOT a ring in your nose !
