Colin hailed from Lanarkshire, the same place I was born. He will be missed, he was a great Scot and a wonderful family man. His son Johnny and his friends were with him. I would like to wish all the families my deepest thoughts and prayers at this time.

Colin, Johnny and friends you are in my prayer's.

I am a motorcycle racing fan more then a WRC fan, however this a massive loss to world of Motor Sports in general.

Its tragic that the best in there field die.

This reminds me of the 11 times Isle Of Man TT winner Steve " Hizzy" Hislop who also died whilst flying his helicopter.

A great loss. R.I.P Colin McRea OBE.

You are missed already.
