According to Romans 4, Paul falsely claims that Abraham recieved his covenant from HaShem, the God of Israel, by the mere graces of HaShem and not by works of the law or by his holy and righteous conduct. For he writes, "What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, hath found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not toward God. For what saith the scripture? And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but as of debt.,,,"
I care not write more of his wicked non-sense, for DON'T tell that to HaShem Himself for this is what He Himself said to Issac - the righteous:
"HaShem appeared unto him [Issac], and said.... 'and I will establish the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father..... Because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. "
Paul, therefore, gives false testimony!!!

I wanted to be a minister since I was about 15. I grew up learning my religion, and studying the Bible. As I went along, I began to find conflicts between the Old and New Testaments. I was deeply concerned and afraid that everything I knew about God was wrong. However the problem wasn’t with God, the problems were within the way the Bible was interpreted. Then I was taught by one of the major Christian religions that they believe when The Christ was born, the Old Testament passed away. All its prophecies were fulfilled, and now we are to follow the New Testament and forget the Old one. Part of the reason I can’t believe in the God from the Old Testament, is that S/he doesn’t even faintly resemble the God from the New Testament. Many entities can convince man that they are God. However with the birth of Jesus, even the need for the 10 commandments were made obsolete. There is need for only one commandment. Christ told us the greatest commandment is: To love the Lord your God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and love thy neighbor as thyself. In my opinion, if one follows this one commandment, it is not possible to break any Commandments, or to sin.
Peace

In modern-Christian thinking (as developed by Paul) it's what you BELIEVE that counts (faith).
This is in opposition to the Bible where it's clear that God values people DOING stuff (works):
The secret things belong unto HaShem our G-d; but the things that are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may DO all the words of this law (Deut. 29).
James, Jesus' brother, who led the church after Jesus' death and was basically an orthodox Jew and wrote clearly that "faith without works is dead"
Christianity is based on Paul (not James). If Christianity had been based on the church led by James it would basically be Judaism.

I'm sorry, you claim to be a Christian, but you do not believe in the New Testament which the hand picked disciples of Jesus wrote?
If the disciples of Jesus did not understand Jesus, then how can you know more about Jesus than they did, since you were not there? Peter referred to Paul as a brother and Peter referred to Paul's writings as "scripture" (the words of God).
You are giving false testimony!
-------------------------------
Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Paul is quoting from Gen. 15:6: "Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness." (compare Rom. 4:3)
Remember, this is BEFORE Issac was born, and BEFORE Abraham was circumcised (see Rom. 4:9-12 discussion)
Please represent Paul correctly before you accuse him of bearing false witness against God.

Paul realized he couldn't win in his attempt to wipe out the TRUE WORD, so he decided to become a prophet...and what happened to the other leaders of the Jerusalem Church?

Sorry, but you're drawing another D+ from me.
Even the Old Testament says that "Abraham's FAITH"--not all his obedience, as important as that was, and is, but rather his FAITH!--"was counted to him as righteousness." Even as the Nabiim say: "Those justified by FAITH shall live....."
Sorry toots, but that's strike 2.....
