I have had these problems most of my adult life, and went from doctor to doctor to doctor. They would put me on short term things like Ativan or Xanax for anxiety and try to wean me off it, with it all returning. Prozac really does help anxiety in my case. And I have been on Klonopin for 15 years. It's a benzodiazapene and my doctor prefers if because it stays in your system longer. He's willing to let me stay on it. I get those pins and needles sensations in my legs and feet when I go into anxiety mode big time too. I really feel bad for you, because it's just horrible to have to deal with these feelings and be so afraid all the time. I think it's about the most hellish condition to live with. Everyone's different, what worked for me might not work for you. I am much better 15 years later than when it first started. Things do get better with time.

I had nightmares as well with a heavy dose of seroqueol. I've now been prescribed Abilify and its much better. Althought these are for a psych disorder not necessarily the same as yours, my point is to ask your doctor about dosage and or change of meds.
Good health to you.

Alot of medicines like these have side effects. So you should tell whoever prescribed these meds that you are having these side effects. Sometimes there's other meds that they can prescribe that work just as well but without the side effects. Its normal to have some trial and error with meds.

Talk to your doctor. He may want to change your anxiety med to Klonopin or Xanax. Prozac can make some people feel anxious. He may want to change that. Depending on how long you have been on it, sometimes the side effects wear off with time.

The two prescriptions are not mixing well...
Treating symptoms like you have is always experimental on the part of even the best of Doctors...his job is to figure out (through process of elimination) which ones work best, and adjust accordingly until the right combination is found...
On the T.V. show "House," Dr. House (when he has a medical mystery on his hands) begins figuring out first thru experimentation what the cause "cannot" be, by eliminating one by one, the things it cannot be until he arrives at an "either/or" situation...and eventually narrows it down to the right one by eliminating all of them...which leaves only the rare, unheard of stuff...and thus saves the lives of patients who have a very rare condition...it's the whole premise of the show...and what makes the show so interesting...
Nothing to be ashamed about...once the right combination is found for you...
You'll be just as "normally" messed up as the rest of us...
Welcome to the World, my friend...(then the "real" problems become easily manageable through love, friendship, comedy, productive/constructive hobbies, and...
...vices...if necessary...)

The pins and needles sensation can sometimes be side effects of certain drugs, especially interactions of certain drugs. I can't be exactly sure however as I don't know the side effects of either of the two, and researching them has yielded me more medical terms I am unaquainted with. My suggestion however would be to discuss this with your doctor, especially regarding the duration and intensity of the feelings. You can never be too careful with certain things like this as they can sometimes be indicative of underlying medical issues. Or perhaps certain drug reactions.
