in terms of engine life and kilometres i can get out of it
its done 123000 and is a fantastic car and opertates well.

From Experience, Depending on Service Intervals etc you should get 300k out of it.
Replace the Coolent Every 60K
Make sure it has the updated water pump o-ring or it will leak.
Replace the Transmission Fluid every 80K and Diff oil every 50 K
As for Oil, Ford says 15K but 10 is more like it and use simple Castrol GTX not the overpriced crap they supply
Take it in to Ford and make sure it has all the latest computer PCM reflashes done

My AU has done about the same klms, I expect the life of the
engine to be between 400k and 500k before it needs major attention. My friends taxi with the same engine did
600k before the head had to come off.
Regular oil changes and don't thrash it, help a lot.
Keep an eye on the welsh plugs, had mine replaced recently, started to leak! Something to do with the substandard coolant they came out with....
